Who doesn't need a quiet minute to themselves away from this busy life from time to time? Sometimes it's nice to kick back, put your feet up and relax for a while, even if you're a kid. I give you, our version of the under the table hammock!
This is a quick and easy getaway for your kids to make them feel like they could curl their toes in the sand as waves are crashing in the background. And you don't even have to leave the kitchen.
I know some people use their baby wrap but we improvised with some old jersey sheets that were headed for the rag bag. Tie the ends together around the top of your table with enough room underneath for your toddler to comfortably swing. It helps if you have a table with flat sides so the fabric doesn't fall off.
She had a blast playing in the sheets! But I don't think she quite grasps the concept of relaxing yet.
Two minutes of prep work for a whole lot of fun! All in all, I'd say it was a huge success.
Adorable model.
