Gingerbread Man Pop Up Christmas Cards

All you need for the Gingerbread man pop up Christmas Cards are green cardboard paper for the Christmas card, brown card paper for the Gingerbread man, scissors, glue and some scrap paper.

In a few easy steps you can make this Gingerbread man card. 

  • Create a template for the Gingerbread man and have it folded in half. 
  • Grab the brown paper and start folding at a 3cm width.  Continue folding until you have six folds and trim any access. 
  • Place the Gingerbread man template on the brown paper and trace (folded side against folded side). 
  • Cut out the Gingerbread man and  start decorating using paper scraps to make buttons and cheeks. 
  • Once Gingerbread men are decorated stick half of the outer gingerbread man onto the green paper and the middle one stick from the middle. 
  • Decorate the card with candy cane cut outs.

Super Simple Polar Bear Card

The Super Simple Polar Bear Cards can be done in just 2 minutes.  All you need is white cardboard paper, blue paper, pink paper, glue and scissors. 

  • Fold the white cardboard paper in half as that is the base of the card. 
  • On the blue paper draw the nose and mouth of the polar bear. 
  • Cut out the nose and mouth to form the face. 
  • From the pink paper cut out two circles for the cheeks. 
  • Place on the white cardboard paper and glue. 
  • Draw the Polar Bear eyes with a marker. 

And you Polar Bear Card is done.

DIY Snowman Christmas Cards

Your kids will definitely enjoy making these DIY Snowman Christmas Cards.  You need blue cardboard paper, white cardboard paper, a piece of ribbon, red paper, orange paper (scrap), different coloured sticky notes, glue, scissors, multi coloured stone stickers, snowflake puncher and pencil compass.  

  • Start off by drawing 3 different sized circles on the white paper using the compass. 
  • From the red paper cut a circle and a cylinder shape to make the base of the hat. 
  • Stick the large and  medium sized white circles onto the blue paper. 
  • Fold the ribbon in half and glue to the side of the medium sized circle. 
  • Glue the smaller size white circle on top. 
  • Place that red circle with the edge touching the white circles and glue. 
  • Glue the cylinder shaped red cutout at the bottom of the red circle to form the base of the hat. 
  • Draw the eyes, mouth and buttons using a marker. 
  • From a small piece of orange paper cut out a triangle to form the nose of the Snowman. 
  • Use a snowflake puncher to decorate further the card. 

If you would like to further decorate the card from the inside all you need to do is:

  • Choose a few sticky notes colours, draw and cut out a circle. 
  • Open the card and glue the coloured sticky notes. 
  • At the top of each circle, place a multi colored stone sticker. 
  • From the sticker draw a straight line to the top of the card.

Super Simple Elf Christmas Card

This super simple Elf Christmas Card is really easy to make and your little ones will definitely enjoy sticking all the bits and pieces together.  All you need is a green cardboard paper for the card base, red, yellow and black paper scraps, glue and scissors.

  • Start off by cutting a red strip.  Make sure the width is the size of the card. 
  • Take the red strip and cut in zigzag. 
  • Cut a strip from the black paper to form the belt and a small black square. 
  • From the yellow paper cut out a square and circles for the buttons.
  •  Place everything on the card to make sure they fit well and glue them to the card. 
  • Trim any extra edges.

Fingerprint Christmas Cards

  • Fold the white paper to form the card. 
  • Cut out the red paper the same size as the card and glue it to the front. 
  • Cut a strip from white paper, and glue vertically in the middle of the card. 
  • From the black paper, cut a strip and glue horizontally to form the belt. 
  • Cut a rectangular pink paper and stick at the top of the card. 
  • Fold the white paper and cut semi-circle to form the beard. 
  • Cut another white piece to form the base of Santa’s hat and cut a white circle. 
  • Fold another piece of white paper and cut in the shape of a leaf to form the mustache. 
  • Cut a red piece of paper and glue at the top of the card and cut to shape Santa’s hat.
  •  Place the beard pieces and glue everything. 
  • From green paper cut out hollies. 
  • Glue the hollies and the red buttons at the base of Santa’s hat. 
  • Cut a square from the gold glitter sticky paper and stick to Santa’s belt. 
  • Finally, draw Santa’s eyes using a black marker.
