Visiting a theme park is something amazing for children. All the fun attractions and kid-friendly entertainment programs impress almost every child, no matter what age. There are many recommendable theme parks in Europe that are wort-visiting for children and also fun for the grown-ups ;-). 1. Peppa Pig World, UK
Peppa Pig World is located in Paultons Park, Hampshire. Based on the kids’ series, the theme park impresses children with lots of attractions and entertainment programs around the serial figure Peppa Pig.
There is a very special opportunity for your little ones to meet Peppa Pig and George in person. Just before Paultons Park opens its doors, kids have the chance to take photos with them and play inside George’s Spaceship Playzone. Just get the Early Play Pass and the fun begins! 🙂
2. Legoland Holiday Village, Germany

The Legoland Windsor Resort is worth a visit when you stay in the UK with your kids. Around the Lego theme there are numerous attractions, rides, playgrounds and amusements for children of all ages. The Skeleton Bay Pirate Stunt Show makes kids’ eyes sparkling and is also fun for adults. Your children can explore the Land Of The Vikings while going on a water ride or drive around with their own little Lego cars.

Some braver visitors get their fun on a roller coaster or during a fanstastic jungle race. 5. PortAventura, Spain
Spain’s PortAventura World in Salou offers 40 amazing attractions that are located in different country-themed areas. The park includes the PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park and the Ferrari Land for which you have to buy separate tickets.
There are rides especially for small children like the Área Infantil and quite moderate rides like the Grand Canyon Rapids or the Wild Buffalos bumper cars. Brave adrenaline junkies get their money worth on the 76m high Shambhala roller coaster. PortAventura World offers many great shows for kids and adults, depending on the season. The parrot show for example, is educational and fun for everyone.
If the kids want to take home a little souvenir, you should visit the many little shops around the park where you can buy toys, jewellery post cards and other nice gifts. Restaurants and snack stalls provide for your physical well-being. There you will find a wide variety of food for everyone’s taste.
There are different ticket options to buy, like with or without overnight stays. Kids until three have free admission and kids until ten years get discount. Your stay at PortAventura World will surely be fantastic!
I love the accents in Peppa Pig. I can just see myself wandering around that park with the voices in my head “oh Daddy Pig.”
