Materials For The Crystals Experiment:
- ¼ cup Epsom salt
- ¼ cup hot water
- food coloring
- a cup
- a plate
- a small jar
Instructions For The Crystal Experiment:
- Mix the Epsom salt and the hot water together.
- If all the salt doesn’t dissolve, heat the mixture in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
- When all the salt is dissolved, put a few drops of food coloring in the cup and stir.
- Put the cup in the fridge. Check on it every half hour/ hour. After 4 hours, crystals should arise in the cup.
- Place the crystals onto a plate.
- To make the crystals more durable, put them into a closable jar.
