1. Christmas at the Château de Vaux le Vicomte 2019
At Christmas time, the Château de Vaux le Vicomte (Maincy, France) appears in a bright and festive glow, decorated with lightning ornaments and tall Christmas trees. Normally the Château is closed in winter, but on several days from the 23th November until the 5th January it opens its magical doors.
During Christmas season, the French castle is transformed into a dream of a thousand and one colors. Discover the enchanting surroundings of this amazing estate together with you children. You can stroll around the garden area or visit the rooms and exhibitions of the castle, like the interesting carriage musem. This year’s highlight is undoubtedly the Grand Salon where a spinning majestic, entirely gilded pyramidal nativity scene is placed. The pompous artwork is 8 m high and will fascinate children and grown-ups.
Château de Vaux le Vicomte offers amazing activities for kids during the Christmas period. In the gardens, there are waiting some surprises for children.
